Christmas Dessert

So I've been trying to plan my Christmas meal so I'm not left with a boring dinner.  I've pretty much sorted the main course so now on to the difficult dessert.   How the hell do you make a wheat free, diary free, sugar free, yeast free dessert?  Seems impossible!

I've searched and searched and even searched some more but there always seems to be one ingredient that I can't have.  Think I am going to have an experimental weekend in the kitchen.

Has anyone ever created a successful phase one dessert?

  1. Then I suggest fresh fruit :))

  2. Hi Medeja, Id love some fresh fruit but on stage one of the anti-candida diet no fruit is allowed except lemons and limes. Not sure if a lemon and lime fruit salad would be too appetizing!!

There is a section that has yeast recipes but there are lots of others in there too.

  4. I used to eat a lot of flax seed cake.

The link is the recipe I used but I am sure you can find a better recipe.

Quite a few candida blogs linked up to my Candida link.... I bet you might find a great recipe there.

  5. Hi Shiny!
I'm Joi from Just Saying No. I have some desserts listed that you may be interested in. Believe me, I know how hard it is on Stage one! I'll add you to my blogroll and look for you on twitter.

  6. I have quite a few ACD Stage 1 desserts on my blog--raw lime tarts, crimson mousse, carob-almond sweeties (like raw truffles) and more--just look for the post called "Anti Candida Desserts: What Do You Eat?" on the "Popular" posts column on the left. :) Good luck!

  7. I hope you figured out something for you to eat on Christmas!!! I am like you... that is why I love checking out all the candida blogs.

Diet, Dessert and Dogs, Ricki and Joi all have great recipes for those of us with candida

If you are interested, I have some giveaways going on. Stevia... 4 winners and Tropical Traditions coconut 2 pounds. Also if you have any xylitol recipes, I am giving an apron away for the best recipe.

Hope you can stop by and check them out. Terry
